Great room with a lot of charm, bath top, location very idyllic and absolutely quiet.
Breakfast is really English, there's no continental, just toast and yogurt.

Dog-friendly policies, Mini bar selection, Scenic rural setting
Access roads were tricky, leading to confusion!!! The coffee quality at breakfast desperately needs improvement, as weak and tasteless coffee doesn't cut it!!! Clearer hotel information at check-in would enhance the experience!!!

charming stay with great staff
Our corner room in the dog house was beautifully decorated and immaculate. The private grassy area for our dog was an added bonus, allowing her to enjoy the outdoors.

Superior Double Room offered excellent comfort, with a spacious layout and quality furnishings. The overall cleanliness of the room highlighted a good attention to detail.
The breakfast left some room for improvement, missing fresh fruit salad or compote, which would have elevated the experience. The evening meal could be better. For a gluten-free option, the long wait for a tiny portion without veggies felt a bit off, especially given the price. More variety in side dishes would be appreciated to.

Fantastic stay with friends! We loved hiking nearby and visiting a local castle. The place has a gorgeous outdoor seating area with a fire pit. Staff were super friendly and the food was decent.
The noise from other guests was noticeable, especially at night, making it tough to sleep at times.

The outdoor seating is fantastic for chilling, and we had a blast visiting local spots like Highclere Castle and enjoying some hiking. The staff was super friendly, and the breakfast was great. Just a heads up, there's no lounge area to relax aside from your room.
We were locked out of the pub area because we weren't told the door would be locked. Luckily, the key was on our room key set, but it caught us off guard.
